Why is this blog called the three corners of the USA? pretty simple. Haven't been there yet. I've been to one corner and I'd like to have a complete set.

It made me discover my love of travelling by motorcycle alone. Alone, but not lonely. I loved the whole exploring aspect of not planning and not knowing what exactly lay in the miles beyond.
In 2009, I hatched a hair-brained scheme to go to the remote and isolated community in the North West Territories past the Arctic Circle called Inuvik. I never made it to my intended destination.
If you're too lazy to read the two above blogs, you're just damn lazy. But for those who are time-pressed here are the two trips.

I'm feeling adventurous again, and this time I'll be heading south. Since the crash, my beloved M50 named Beast is in the stable for a hard rest until i tear it down and rebuild it. I went out and procured a shiny new 2009 KLR 650. It has been named Crazy Piglet.
I'm calling this trip the three corners I've hit Washington and to the far northwest, Deadhorse Alaska. I want to hit the other three corners, which i've decided two points out of three. San Diego for the southwest, Key west for the furthest point south and south east, and finally somewhere in the north east before going home.
I have a need to see the other side of the USA. We see the commercial side of it, but never any small town stuff. The real people of everyday America. I strongly suspect it's like everywhere else on the planet, good people but maybe a bit richer.
